Will you join me in turning out the lights? Maybe you'll light a candle and think a bit. Maybe you'll turn off the TV and step outside to look at the stars. Or maybe you'll just turn in early and get an extra hour of sleep. Whatever you do, take some time to rethink (part of the 5 R's - reduce, reuse, recycle, rethink and refuse). How are you spending our reserves of "ancient sunlight"?
I'll be working, but I'm going to unplug my computer and try to work without it for an hour. Maybe I'll sort some papers or catch up on some reading or training materials. Either way I can't turn off all the lights in the office, but I'll think about it again.
Ready for spring and all that comes with it? Earth day is just a month away - 4/22!

The solution begins within! You're an inspiration. I save energy by keeping the heat low in the winter, and not bothering with the AC in the summer. I'm not home very often, but I turn off the lights whenever I can in the restrooms or office at work.
